Learn About Who We AreWelcome to the Sedelmeier Forestry Research Fund. The Sedelmeier Forestry Research Fund came about because as forest land owners, we realized that our forests needed help.
Too many trees were struggling with great difficulty to overcome the diseases and insect infestations that was imparing their health.
And many of our trees are dying or have died because of these problems. Therefore the Sedelmeier Forestry Research Fund was founded with the hope that other forest and tree minded people and corporations that
depend upon the forest, would join and help us to search out and locate research projects working on finding the solutions. And then help to
fund these research projects. Our primary goal is to provide funding for critical pathology research into the causes, control, prevention, and the eventual elimination of some of the diseases that affect the trees of our forest lands and our shade trees. In addition the forestry research fund will work diligently to find safe natural means to effectively control the many insects that harm the trees of our forests. With the help of its members, both individual and corporation, the Sedelmeier Forestry Research Fund will provide grants to college and university research projects to research tree diseases and find lasting cures. In addition, we will provide research funds to other research projects provided that the results of the research is shared with the public and is used to advance the public good and welfare of our private forest lands, shade trees, and public forest lands. Sedelmeier Forestry Research Fund began just two months ago and is still in it's formalizing period. We a non-profit corporation registered
with the State of Washington. We are registered with the Federal government and we are applying for our 501(c)(3) non-profit classification for
tax purposes. |
